A Day to Remember/ Real Magic

The sun came down that night, filling us with tears as the streets went quiet and the birds' calming chatter faded away into the dark. It’d be a once in a lifetime experience, dead forever now. The cool breeze had given us a hint of what a day was coming up that morning. Birds roamed the sky, kids were getting ready for school, just a regular Wednesday morning. The bright blue of the sky splattered wildlife into it. The day was getting into action, the streets were already filling up. We pack our bags, our gadgets and food in our huge suitcases. Up we went, depressed yet more excited. Up to the coast, to where magic was really real. “Byron Bay, here we come!” Mum jinxed it before I could even start to think of my emotions. The motorway was filled with hard concrete and the surroundings were filled with real magic. The greenest green, the bluest blue, the most alive place I could even imagine. By that time, I had a mental cry, knowing that I’d have to leave this place within a lifet
